VOTERS in Hyndburn will receive their electoral registration forms now instead of in August as usual.
The forms are going out early to ensure that the electoral register is as up-to-date as possible ahead of the first Police and Crime Commissioner elections being held on Thursday November 15.
Canvassers working for Hyndurn Council have been delivering the forms since the beginning of July and residents are being encouraged to complete their form and return it promptly to ensure they can have their say in November.
Registering to vote is quick and simple. If changes need to be made to the form just write the details on, sign it and return it to the Council in the envelope it was delivered in.
If there are no changes then freephone, internet or text options are listed on the form although residents can still choose to sign the form and post it back.
