Tom Lancashire with the Olympic torch
AN athlete from Lancashire brought an Olympic torch to Blackburn as the new Pleckgate High School held its official opening.
Olympic hopeful middle-distance runner Tom Lancashire (right), who comes from Bolton, visited the staff and pupils at the new £25million state-of-the art building for the event.
And sporty pupils (above) wore T-shirts spelling out ‘Pleckgate 2012 ‘ to welcome him.
