A MAN was taken to hospital suffering minor injuries after losing control of his car near the shops of Brunshaw Road, Burnley. Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene at around 6.20pm on Saturday after the Ford Focus ended up on its roof. The car had also smashed in to a wall near the Spar shop on the road. A fire crew from Burnley Fire Station were called to the scene to assist getting the man out of the vehicle, but said that he had managed to escape himself by the time they arrived. Police also attended the scene and are investigating.
