A WOMAN from Haslingden has been charged with rape and indecent assault following an investigation into crimes committed over 30 years ago.
Hilary Brewer, 67, of Knowl Gap Avenue, was charged by Greater Manchester Police, alongside her ex-husband, Michael.
They are each accused of rape and indecent assault on a girl aged between 13 and 18 in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Hilary Brewer is charged with rape and indecent assault, while Michael Brewer, also 67, of Swartmore Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, has been charged with rape and six counts of indecent assault.
They are due before Manchester City Magistrates' Court on May 7.
