ALTHAM-based Media Village has announced two additions to its growing team of professionals.
Red-Fern Media and Academy Print and Design, who are part of the five strong team at the Media Village, have taken on junior web designer Rick Holden, 28, and college leaver Alannah Stevenson, 18.
Rick joins Red-Fern from esp-play, who make outdoor learning equipment. Alana joins Academy from Nelson and Colne College and is taking a modern apprenticeship in office administration.
The Media Village is a PR and marketing hub and it employs 35 people.
Nick Oakley, MD of Academy Print, said: “We’re growing at rate of knots. We are keen advocates of on-the-job training and we pride ourselves on investing in young talent and helping build careers in the creative industry.
"Although we are in a recession, it is still extremely important to continue this investment.”
