AN EAST Lancashire nature reserve has picked up two prestigous environmental awards.
Brockholes, in the Ribble Valley, has been awarded the living wetlands prize from the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management.
Reserve manager Sophie Leadsom will receive a trophy, at a ceremony in London on May 17, and a cheque for £1,500, which will be used to fund further projects.
The site is also the proud winner of the the sustainable project of the year award from Building Magazine.
