A FARM watch crime prevention scheme has been re-launched in the Colne and West Craven area.
Farm Watch aims to improve security and reduce the number of thefts by increasing public awareness and improving the flow of information between the police, local farmers and rural businesses about the activities and movement of criminals.
Farmers and businesses will be encouraged to inform police of sightings of suspicious vehicles, worrying of stock, poachers or other unusual activity so that this information can be relayed to all users of the scheme.
PC Claire Sharples will be contacting local farmers to invite them to join the scheme and be part of the two-way email exchange.
