A MAN found dead in his Burnley home after concerned friends raised the alarm has been named.
Neil Blackmore was found by police after they forced their way into his Harold Street home , shortly after 2pm on Tuesday.
Neighbours who describe the 46-year-old ‘ as a lovely man’ became concerned, after he had not been seen for more than three weeks.
Friends even left a note taped to his front door asking him to get in touch.
Police, who are not treating the death as suspicious, also removed Mr Blackmore’s two dogs.
