MORE than 1,000 people saw a monster motorsport performance at Witton Park last night.
Extreme Events Europe took over the Blackburn park with a range of monster trucks on display.
The daredevil truck display drivers were crashing cars, setting each other alight and demonstrating two-wheel driving as seen in the movies.
It was the second time that the event had been held in the town following a successful debut last summer.
Monster trucks Extreme and Lil’ Devil from Channel 4’s Famous and Fearless Arena were on show.
Alongside the 2,000-plus horsepower, methanol supercharged machines roaring around a racetrack, crushing anything in their path, were the Extreme Motocross Freestyle Team, flying through the air with death defying tricks.
The show has toured in New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, and more recently Dubai, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
