A CHARITY shop has been hit in a burglary.
Police said Scope, which is based in the old market site in Ainsworth Street, Blackburn, was targeted between 5pm on Saturday, April 14, and 8.30am yesterday by burglars who removed a window cage, and smashed their way inside.
A £30 float from the till was stolen, along with a camera and two printers that had been donated but not yet marked up for sale.
Shop manager Calum Rigby, 38, said: “While break-ins like this are rare, I am appalled that anyone would steal from a charity.”
