Suggs and the rest of the Nutty Boys from Madness are heading north to perform an open-air concert at the beautiful setting of Carlisle Racecourse this summer.
The pop-ska supergroup will play all their smash hits like Baggy Trousers, One Step Beyond and House of Fun from a giant trackside stage after an evening race meeting at the Cumbrian course on Saturday, July 7.
The chart-topping band sold more than six million records in their 80s heyday, with 15 top 10 UK hits such as It Must Be Love, Driving In My Car, Embarrassment, Our House, Michael Caine and Night Boat To Cairo.
The current Madness line-up to perform in Carlisle features six of the band's seven original members, including lead singer Graham McPherson, better known as Suggs.
Richard Clements, Carlisle Racecourse's general manager, said: "Jools Holland headlined this meeting in 2010 and last summer it was Texas but we are taking it up to another level with Madness. They are incredibly popular across a wide age range and have a great reputation for live performances."
