A BRIERFIELD man who was said to have been ‘grooming’ two boys by going to Accrington Stanley matches, has appeared at Burnley Crown Court.
Philip Reece, 46, is accused of six counts of breaching a sexual offences prevention order, between January and September, last year.
Under the order, made at Norwich Crown Court in October 2007,the defendant is not allowed to associate with any child under 18.
Reece, of Chapel Street, Brierfield, denies the allegations and will face trial on November 12. He is now banned from Accrington Stanley games, both at home and away.
The defendant was bailed on condition he does not contact, directly or indirectly, the two boys or any child under 18.
He must not associate with, meet, or arrange to meet any child under the age of 18.
Reece is not allowed to enter the Accrington Stanley ground or any football stadium where they may be playing an away fixture.
