POLICE are appealing for help to find a man who has gone missing from hospital in Blackburn.
Richard Baird, 25, left Royal Blackburn Hospital on Haslingden Road at around 2.50pm yesterday and was last seen in Shadsworth Road at around 3pm.
He is white, around five feet nine inches tall, of slim build and a fair complexion. He has dark brown shaved hair and is clean shaven with blue eyes.
When he was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, black Adidas tracksuit pants, a black t-shirt and black trainers.
Chief Inspector Geoff Hurst said, “There is the possibility Richard could now be in the Chorley or Leyland area and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare so I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him to contact police as soon as possible.”
