POLICE are hunting three men who broke the jaw of a teenager after shouting homophobic abuse at him.
The attack happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday, February 11, when a 16-year-old boy was walking on Netherfield Road, Nelson with his sister when three men shouted at him.
An argument then broke out.
The group assaulted him, punching and kicking him in the face before fleeing when a man intervened.
The three men are described as Asian, between 16 and 19 years of age.
One of them was described as being of medium build, around 5ft 8in and 5ft 10in, clean shaven with short, dark cropped, hair.
