A SEX attacker who subjected a woman to a 20-minute ordeal in an East Lancashire subway has been warned he faces jail.
Tahmoor Hussain, 21, struck in a subway linking Accrington Road and Westway, Burnley on New Year’s Eve and shoved his victim to the ground.
She managed to struggle free eventually, after being molested on a grass verge, and alerted Lancashire Police.
Detectives launched a manhunt for the attacker - and urged anyone who recognised his distinctive red shoes to come forward.
Tahmoor Hussain, 21, formerly of Princess Street, Nelson, has now admitted a sexual assault charge at Burnley Crown Court.
Bailing him for pre-sentence reports until April 16, Judge Beverley Lunt said: “I will be looking at all options, including imprisonment and the most likely outcome is imprisonment. You should prepare yourself for that.”
Hussain, who must sign the sex offenders’ register, was also banned from entering Burnley or Padiham, except to attend court or when travelling to work accompanied.
He was also told he must live at an address in Longsight Road, Langho and obey an 8pm to 8am curfew.
