THE Queen will visit Burnley and Accrington on her Diamond Jubilee tour of the UK, Buckingham Palace announced yesterday.
The monarch and the Duke of Edinburgh will travel to every region of the country as they celebrate the historic milestone.
The royal couple will visit East Lancashire on the North West leg of their tour, between May 16 and 17.
They will begin their tour by visiting the city of Leicester, before travelling around the country, from March to July, by car, royal train, aircraft, and the ship Leander.
