SNOW is set to hit East Lancashire tomorrow, according to the Met Office.
Light snow is expected throughout the day, getting heavier in the evening, particularly in the Rossendale area.
The snow could be washed away by heavy rain later in the night.
Temperatures are expected to remain at sub-zero levels all day, with a high of minus one predicted.
