A BURGLAR is wanted by police after breaking the terms of his early release from prison.
David Kean, 40, of Olive Lane, Darwen, received a six-month jail sentence in January 2010.
He was released from prison on an early release licence, but has failed to keep to its conditions and has been recalled to prison.
Kean is known to travel.
He is white, around 5ft 9ins, of stocky build with a shaved head.
He has tattoos including a black panther on his upper left arm, Chinese writing on his right shoulder and an oriental dragon tattoo on his upper right arm.
Inspector John Clucas said: “We believe Kean attempts to make contact with women in different areas of the country through social networks on the Internet.
“He befriends these women, starts a relationship with them, visits them and eventually steals from them before moving on.
“I would urge people to be vigilant and report any sightings to police. Any details could be crucial.”
It is not clear if Kean has returned to Lancashire.
If you have any information call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
