HUNDREDS of cannabis plants grown in tents were found as police raided a house linked to drug dealing.

Officers swooped on terraced house in Suffolk Street, Mill Hill, yesterday.

Police smashed their way in through the front door around 2.30pm.

They found three rooms full of between 100-200 mature cannabis plants with a street value of between £40,000 – £80,000.

PC Leo Noctor said they acted after tip offs about suspicious activity and smells at the house.

Inside was evidence of somebody living among the cannabis farm with a big sofa and wall-mounted TV in the living room.

Each growing room was fully fitted out with tents, ducting and lights.

The extraction system went up through the attic roof.
