TO discover one dish you haven't tried before is a bonus.
To find two is a whole new experience.
Thanks to the Taste of India I have now sampled Kata chicken and chicken chilli - and thoroughly enjoyed them both.
At £12.60 for the two dishes including pilau rice and a naan it represented good value for money too.
The kata chicken featured small but plentiful chunks of chicken cooked in a thick, spicy sauce.
This was the kind of sauce I like with loads of flavour but without the searing temperature.
The chilli dish - for the asbestos-lined palate of the better half - was made of sterner stuff.
But once again, you could taste the distinct flavours rather than just being overpowered by the chilli.
A word too for the friendly staff who recommended the two dishes.
