A Blackburn teenager breached an anti-social behaviour order when he entered Bolton Central Library.
Charlie Tegland, 19, of New Bolton Road, Blackburn, admitted the offence, which happened on June 22.
He was ordered, by Bolton magistrates, to go to an attendance centre for 24 hours.
He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs, which will be taken from his benefits.
