EAST Lancashire Hospitals Trust beat its A&E waiting time target for the week ending August 21.
Of the 3,187 patients who attended Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital’s emergency departments, 98.9 per cent were seen within four hours.
The target is 95 per cent.
