BOARDING provision at Windermere School has been given its best ever rating by Ofsted inspectors.
The independent school’s accommodation for 112 eight to 18 year olds was graded outstanding - jumping a grade since its last inspection in 2008.
Inspector Stephen Trainor praised the school’s three boarding houses for their exceptional quality and for the way staff take an individualised approach to each boarder.
Health and safety and catering were also found to be at an extremely high standard with the extensive choice of food at each mealtime particularly commented on.
Boarding at Windermere School is available for children age eight upwards with full and weekly boarding, as well as flexi-boarding for a night or two each week.
