Hayley Longton, 10, who attends Whittle-le-Woods Primary School, Chorley, has won the grand final of Silentnight’s Book at Bedtime competition.
Hayley’s story, “Hippo and Duck Visit the Queen” tells the fun tale of what happened when Silentnight's mascots Hippo and Duck go to tea with the Queen.
The story was selected by the judges as one of the top ten from over 1,300 entries, and went on to win the online public vote.
Hayley’s story will now be illustrated and printed, as well as being available to view on the Silentnight website.
Hayley also wins a Silentnight Maxima bed and a family stay in “The Big Pyjama Suite” at the Alton Towers Resort.
