A ROW over the washing up led to a man being arrested for a domestic assault.
Police were called to a house in Rossall Terrace, Highercroft, Blackburn.
A dispute had started over the washing up not being done.
It escalated into a 25-year-old man grabbing his 23-year-old partner by the hair and ripping her earring out.
When she was on the ground he then stood on her arms.
Police said the argument then spilled out into the street and the woman walked off.
When police arrived, the victim didn’t want to make a complaint. However the man was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm.
He admitted assaulting the woman and was given a caution.
