Lancashire motorway lorry fire causing tailbacks
A LORRY on fire on the hard shoulder of the M61 is causing major rush-hour delays tonight.
Two of the three lanes of the southbound carriageway of the motorway are shut as it leaves the M6 at junction 30.
The Highways Agency is reporting queues all the way to back to junction 31A at Samlesbury due to the fire, which happened around 4.30pm.
