COMMUNITY projects in Pendle have been awarded £82,000 of Lottery cash since December.
Most of the money came from the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All programme, which handed out more than £1million across the North West in its latest round of grants.
St Joseph's RC Primary and Community Centre in Barnoldswick, Barrowford School, New Life Christian Centre in Colne, Higham St John's CE Primary, St John Southworth RC Primary in Nelson and Pendle Riding for the Disabled Association all received substantial handouts.
Andrew Stephenson, MP for Pendle, said: “These projects will make a real difference to those most in need across the borough.
“These latest awards reflect the vital role of Lottery funding across our area.
"It will bring positive changes to the lives of so many people.”
