A GROUP of four people were locked up after police tried to arrest a man for being drunk.
Police responded to an incident in Railway Road, Darwen, at 4am yesterday morning.
As they tried to detain a man, three other people were involved in a ‘minor fracas’ at the scene.
Officers arrested one woman and three men, all in their early 20s, on suspicion of public order offences.
They were held in the cells overnight and were being questioned yesterday.
