DISABILITY organisation Scope has thanked people for their generosity over the last year after Lancashire ranked the third most generous county in the UK!
The organisation announced it received £481,152 in donations from the county.
The money donated was raised through individuals and events as well as trusts and corporate gifts.
The money will be used to fund Scope run projects, schools and services helping achieve equality for disabled people across England and Wales.
Jon Sparkes, acting CEO at Scope, said, "Today's announcement is a great achievement for us and we would like to thank every single person who has supported our work."
He added, "Scope's mission is to achieve equality for disabled people and the more support we have the more we can invest in services and projects that will make this a reality."
