Two brothers involved in an early-hours street robbery and two attacks on three teenage victims are both behind bars while an accomplice has been spared.
Ringleader and father-to-be David Steer, of Dall Street, Burnley, was jailed for two and a half years on his 20th birthday.
Brother Michael, 17, of Pheasantford Street, Burnley, was sent down for 12 months. Both admitted robbery and two charges of assault causing actual bodily harm when they appeared at Burnley Crown Court.
David Steer's girlfriend Charlene Nicholson, 17, of Clover Street, Bacup, who pleaded guilty to robbery and expects a baby in November, was given a 12 months referral order.
Judge Woolman said he accepted the "nasty" robbery on a youth who had withdrawn £40 from a cash machine, was unplanned, but the position changed when the victim got his money and David Steer "crystalised in his mind" there was some cash to be got.
The judge said after David Steer started the robbery, he was joined by his brother. When they needed further assistance, they called on Nicholson to grab the teenager's wallet and made off with the spoils.
