A SHOPAHOLIC mother-of-three is to go on national television to describe how she ran up debts of £50,000.
Emma Ellis, 24, of Quakers View, Brierfield, is due to feature on Tonight with Sir Trevor McDonald on ITV later this month, when it focuses on those who live beyond their means.
She is seeking counselling for her addiction after admitting using her mother's credit card to go on a £3,000 spending spree.
Ellis admitted three counts of deception and asked for four other offences to be taken into consideration.
Burnley magistrates sentenced her to 12 months supervision and she was also ordered to do 80 hours unpaid work.
