YOUNG people in the Blackburn with Darwen Council area can now get advice on jobs and careers six days a week after an advice service extended its opening hours.
Connexions' 1 Stop 4 U' centre, Ainsworth Street, is now open on Saturdays, from 10am to 2pm, along with its regular weekday openings.
The centre offers young people, parents and carers advice on a range of issues including education and relationships, health and housing.
Lynn Bedford, centre manager, said: "We wanted to make the centre more accessible. Some of the young people who make contact with Connexions are working during the week and may be looking to improve their prospects.
"They want to come to Connexions to get advice on changing career and can now make the most of our service outside of working hours."
The centre also welcomes adults seeking information and advice on learning and work opportunities.
