Barrowford restaurant commended in Commons awards
AN Indian restaurant in Pendle has been highly commended in the Tiffin Cup competition.
The Bombay Lounge, in Gisburn Road, Barrowford, was nominated in the contest by Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson.
Despite not making it through to the final, it will receive a certificate and embroidered Lyca Tiffin Cup 2011 chef jacket.
Mr Stephenson said: “It is unfortunate that it didn’t manage to reach the Grand Final, but this is such a prestigious award and to be honoured in this way is testament to the fantastic efforts of all the staff at Bombay Lounge.”
