A MAN has today admitted murdering a Blackburn College caretaker.
Glen Mould, 36, of Delph Close, Blackburn, was due to face trial today over the death of 31-year-old Dominic Bibby.
However, this morning he asked for the charge of murdering Dominic Bibby sometime between December 17 and 20 last year to be put to him again.
He entered a guilty plea and will be sentenced on Wednesday at Preston Crown Court.
Mr Bibby was found dead last December at a terraced home in Delph Close.
Mr Bibby was employed by Lancashire County Council which provided contracted cleaners and caretakers to the college.
He shared the job with his brother.
His body was discovered by police after an anonymous tip-off made by phone from a public phone box.
Detectives said he had ‘visible injuries consistent with the use of a blunt instrument’ to his head and body.
They said he had been ‘subject to a sustained and vicious attack’.
