A CAMPAIGN to save a waste recycling centre is gathering pace.
Great Harwood County Councillor Ciaran Wells said a ‘healthy number of residents’ had already sent in letters urging Lancashire County Council to save Great Harwood Household Waste Recycling Centre.
However, he is urging others to join in by contacting him for a standard petition letter should they wish to have their say.
Coun Wells said: "We have sent hundreds and hundreds of letters, emails and signatures showing our support for the centre.
"This is a vital service that residents rely on and I urge those who haven't already done so to support the campaign.
"We'll keep going until the decision is made."
To contact Coun Wells for a copy of the letter call 07917 011188, or on Twitter @ci_wells.
