AN entrepreneur from Burnley camped at Wimbledon for three nights to be in with a chance of securing a ticket to watch Andy Murray’s straight-sets victory on Centre Court yesterday.
Laurence Daw, 24, who pitched his tent at SW19 on Sunday afternoon, was told he would be guaranteed a ticket to see Murray take on unseeded Spaniard Feliciano Lopez.
The former Habergham High School pupil, who organises music events in the capital, was lucky enough to watch the world number four’s quarter final clash live.
