A Lancashire League Cricket club was featured on the BBC’s The One Show last night.
Nelson Cricket Club, the home of West Indian cricket legend Lord Learie Constantine, was shown on the BBC One programme to commemorate his life.
Team captain Tom Lord appeared in the show alongside Edna Hartley, the wife of the late chairman and player Ken Hartley.
Lord Constantine was a professional at Nelson from 1929 to 1937 and 5,000 people witnessed his debut against Accrington in 1929.
