ARTISTS from across East Lancashire are being given the opportunity to exhibit their work at Clitheroe Castle.
The castle’s Steward’s Gallery hosts up to four arts, heritage and history exhibitions a year, including the Inspired Ribble Valley Open featuring the work of amateur, professional or student visual artists living or working in Ribble Valley.
Now the exhibition is being opened to artists living and working throughout East Lancashire.
Artists are invited to submit any type of fine art, including two or three-dimensional pieces and pieces up to 1.8m in height, for consideration in the exhibition.
It will run from October 22 to January 15 2012.
Artists are asked to submit an application form, up to six images of up to three pieces of work, a 150-word statement and £10 submission fee to the Platform Gallery in Station Road, Clitheroe, by 4.30pm on Tuesday, August 16.
