LANCASHIRE Fire Authority has re-elected its chairman and deputy, and appointed four new members.
The authority is made up of publicly-elected members and works to support fire and rescue service personnel.
The re-elected chairman and vice chairman are councillors David O’Toole and John Shedwick.
Coun O’Toole has been a member of the fire authority for 11 years, as well as representing Lancashire on the North West Fire and Rescue Partnership Board.
He is also a member of Lancashire County Council and the West Lancashire Borough Council.
The four new councillors are county councillors Bob Much, Chris Holtom, Carl Crompton and Sylvia Taylor, who represent Wyre, Ribble Valley, Preston and Blackpool electoral divisions respectively.
