A DRUNKEN teenager chose a risky way to walk from Brierfield to Padiham – the middle of the railway line, a court heard.
Burnley magistrates were told jobless John Paul Maybury, 19, smelled of alcohol and had two cans of lager.
The defendant, who said he was going to see friends, was told he couldn’t continue his journey on the line by police, and was abusive.
Maybury, of Kensington Street, Nelson, admitted being drunk and disorderly.
He was fined £30, with £85 costs and a £15 surcharge.
