A FRESH arrest has been made by detectives in the hunt for the killers of East Lancashire housing manager Paul Brady.
Police have charged 28-year-old Daniel Jones, originally from Bacup, in relation to the killing of the father-of-four in August 2009.
He appeared before Preston magistrates today charged with the murder of Mr Brady, conspiracy to kidnap and manslaughter.
His next appearance will be before a judget at Preston Crown Court on Monday.
In the dock alongside him will be Michael Dunphy, 38, of no fixed address, who was arrested earlier this year as part of the same inquiry.
Mr Brady, originally from Rochdale, was last seen being bundled into the back of a van after being set upon by a 10 to 15 strong masked gang at Lynn’s Court, Weir, near Bacup.
His body has never been found despite repeated appeals by police and his family.
