A man smashed a window at his uncle's house in Darwen after drinking heavily.
Blackburn magistrates heard John Paul Whittingham committed the offence just months after being given a conditional discharge for an identical offence.
Whittingham, 24, of Oxford Street, admitted criminal damage.
The conditional discharge was revoked and he was sentenced to 70 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £50 costs and £40 compensation.
