ROSSENDALE’S MP is encouraging residents to have their say on new developments in their communities.
Jake Berry said the new plan called Community Right to Build, which is making its way through Parliament as part of the Localism Bill, would allow communities to approve new local developments without the necessity of going through the normal planning process.
He said: “This government is committed to cutting red tape and enabling people to take charge of their local area.
"This will be such a great opportunity for people in Rossendale to get involved and change the area for the better.”
