Organisers are promising an action-packed three days for the first ever Whalley Live Festival on June 18 to 19.
Saturday will see live music in all the village centre pubs throughout the day, with an outdoor music stage at the Whalley Arms, with barbecue, and a children’s disco, face-painting and games.
There will also be a Saturday Summer Fair at Whalley Methodist Church, a Sunday Farmers’ Market at The Swan Hotel and an indoor market in the Village Hall.
Other activities include a continental market, the first-ever Whalley wheelbarrow grand prix, Last Night of the Proms Concert, teddy bears picnic and family fun runs.
* Whalley Live takes place in the village on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19.
