SENTENCING of a man who admitted keeping dangerous dogs after his best friend was almost ‘eaten alive’ by his pets has been delayed.
Mark Rowland, 24, was facing jail after pal Daniel Boardman, 19, was mauled.
But his sentencing at Blackburn Magistrates Court was postponed on Wednesday.
Mr Boardman, who now lives in Baxenden, was hospitalised for more than a month and suffered ‘life-changing’ injuries in the incident.
It happened at his home, in Sands Road, Rishton, on March 14, when he was looking after the dogs.
