BURNLEY FC director a must wait before finding out the result of a court case over the escalating costs of his legal clash with a bailed-out bank.
Mr Flood, along with business partner James Riddell, blames Anglo Irish Bank for causing the collapse of several high-profile shopping centre developments by withholding finance.
However, the bank, which was bailed out by the Irish government in 2009, claims Mr Flood and Mr Riddell did not honour personal guarantees relating to sites in Wakefield and Blackpool.
The latest case, held at London’s High Court, is over Anglo Irish’s refusal to pay £250,000 into court up front as security for legal costs.
Three high court judges have reserved judgement and will hand it down at a later date yet to be decided.
Mr Flood’s Modus Ventures, which was also behind a shopping centre in Wigan, collapsed in June 2009.
He remains a director at Turf Moor.
