Lancashire Telegraph review by Jemma Humphreys from June 17 2011
With all-day breakfasts, alongside sandwiches and full meals served with chips and veg, there really is something for everyone at Spindles.
With options for all tastes and appetites, we opted to first sample the breakfast menu for a Friday morning office treat.
With a variety of bacon, egg and sausage sandwiches for all, the verdict overall was a positive one.
The bacon eaters were a little disappointed the meat wasn’t a little crispier, and mine had a fairly large strip of fat that had to be removed, but they did the job and filled us up until way past lunchtime.
The white teacakes were soft and fluffy and all had just the right amount of red or brown sauce on as requested.
The prices were good, with most options costing just over the £2 mark.
The sausages were the most popular choice. They were cooked well and very tasty.
One colleague had hers with mushrooms, which got the thumbs-up.
We chose to take our sandwiches away but there is an inviting eating area with table service.
Spindles Diner is just one of many great additions to the new market.
