POP trio Scouting for Girls have been confirmed as the final addition to the line-up for Burney’s Towneley Live festival.
Frontman Roy Stride will be bringing hits including She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead and It’s Not About You to the East Lancashire park on Saturday, August 13.
And latest single Love How It Hurts, due for release on July 10, will also get an airing by the Ivor Novello nominated outfit.
Up-and-coming girl band Fanfair, a UK and Irish four-piece, are set to open the spectacular, which is being promoted by Livewyre.
Urban rap specialists N-Dubz will headline, supported by The Saturdays, McFly and Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity.
The event’s curfew is expected to be around 10.30pm so the starting time for bands may now be earlier.
Promoters have also launched a ‘search for a star’ competition which will see one lucky Burnley act share the stage with the main performers.
The tickets for the event are available online at at HMV and the Mechanics in Burnley.
