EMMERDALE's Chastity Dingle is set to appear at Accrington Carnival on June 18.
Actress Lucy Pargeter will take part in the street parade and sign autographs for fans at the carnival site at Accrington and Rossendale College campus.
Carnival organisers Accrington Lions said she would also present medals and judge the Hyndburn’s Got Talent contest.
Her on-screen brother Cain Dingle - actor Jeff Hordley - had to pull out from the event due to filming commitments.
The new 1.1mile procession route through Accrington has also been revealed.
Assembly will be on Thorneyholme Road facing in the direction of Queens Road at 10.45am.
The procession will go down Queens Road, left on to Whalley Road, straight on through the traffic lights at the East Gate/Castle Street junction, continue on Whalley Road passing the mayoral viewing podium into Abbey Street to the traffic lights at Eastgate, carry on straight through traffic lights on to Plantation Street, then turn left onto Park Street which is the dispersal area.
Megan Lucie Adams is the carnival queen and Jasmine Icho Baron is the carnival princess.
Accrington Pipe Band will lead the procession while dancers, cheerleaders and majorettes will also take part.
Members of Accrington Theatre Group will also be in the procession promoting its latest production Our House, the Madness musical, which it will stage in November.
Rishton Waste Paper is the new sponsor.
