IT was ‘full steam ahead’ in Slaidburn at the weekend as vintage steam engines, cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and tractors visited the village.
The Slaidburn Steam and Vintage Vehicle at the Hark to Bounty Inn dates back 31 years.
Raising funds for village causes, this year the free rally featured rural crafts and skills, a ‘steam flavoured menu’ at the pub and an evening of Lancashire folk songs with The Phil Knight Experience.
